The GEN available for download

10 Apr 2012

The latest edition of the gen - the newsletter of the ESRC Genomics Network  - is also now available to view and download online. www.genomicsnetwork.ac.uk/esrcgenomicsnetwork/publications/newsletter/

It has been 10 years since the inception of the Genomics Network and the focus of this March 2012 edition is our own forthcoming EGN Conference  - Genomics in Society: Facts Fictions and Cultures. Conference organiser and Egenis Senior Research Fellow, Christine Hauskeller looks forward to an exciting programme packed with more than 70 international speakers.

Continuing our series of articles highlighting the distinctive contribution made by each of the centres to the Network, we focus on Egenis and their interdisciplinarity and strong international links in Making an Impact.

Together with our regular research updates and centre news, other features explore the social and cultural aspects of our aging society, an exciting new art and science project and comment on the `post genomic' research challenge.

As the Network moves towards the end of its current ESRC funding -  Innogen Director David Wield looks towards a bright new future for the Centres.
